About us

At World Harvest Ministry Nepal, we are a Christian faith-based organization dedicated to empowering the most vulnerable members of society by providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to build brighter futures. Our activities are guided by Christian values, emphasizing love, compassion, and service to others. Based in Kathmandu, Nepal, we focus on supporting orphans, underprivileged, marginalized, and vulnerable children and teenagers through education, skill development, and emergency relief. Our mission is to uplift communities and combat severe poverty by offering sustainable solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term growth.

Since our founding, we have provided scholarships, stationery, and clothing to around 50 children, including 37 girls from rural areas, giving them the opportunity to access education and create better lives for themselves. We also work with families affected by disasters, offering food, medical care, and clothing during crises such as earthquakes, floods, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Our relief efforts, grounded in Christian principles, have helped many rebuild their lives and regain hope.

In addition to our emergency relief work, we are committed to fostering entrepreneurship and skill-building among Nepalese youth. By empowering young people with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, we are creating pathways out of poverty and enabling them to become leaders in their communities.

Our work extends beyond education and disaster relief. We are actively involved in supporting families affected by poverty, providing basic necessities, and helping them regain stability. Through our holistic approach, inspired by the teachings of Christ, we are creating lasting change for individuals, families, and entire communities.

Our Approach

Our Story

World Harvest Ministry Nepal began with a simple yet powerful vision: to make a difference in the lives of Nepal’s most vulnerable children and families. Founded by a group of compassionate individuals, we were driven by the urgent need to address the extreme poverty and marginalization affecting so many across the country. Starting from our base in Kathmandu, we saw firsthand how children, especially girls, were denied opportunities for education and a brighter future due to financial constraints and social barriers.

What started as a small initiative to provide scholarships and essential resources to a few children soon grew into a nationwide effort to uplift entire communities. Over time, we expanded our support, reaching over 50 children, many from rural areas, by offering scholarships, school supplies, and clothing. This focus on education has been at the heart of our work, as we believe it is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.

As our organization grew, so did our commitment to addressing urgent needs during times of crisis. When Nepal was hit by devastating earthquakes, floods, and the COVID-19 pandemic, we stepped up to provide life-saving aid to families who had lost everything. From distributing food and medical care to rebuilding lives, our disaster relief efforts have been a cornerstone of our mission to provide holistic support.

Today, we stands as a beacon of hope for children and families across Nepal. We are not just helping individuals survive but empowering them to thrive, with a focus on entrepreneurship and skills training for youth. Our story is one of resilience, compassion, and a shared belief that by working together, we can create lasting change.

we empower children and youth through individual donations, corporate sponsorships, grants, fundraising events, NGO partnerships, and in-kind contributions, ensuring access to education, vocational training, and emergency relief for those in need.
