We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces

Nepal, a nation of breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage, holds great potential in its youngest citizens. The children and youth of today are the architects of tomorrow’s Nepal, and it is our collective responsibility to build a world where they can thrive, dream, and lead. However, many challenges still persist, especially for the most vulnerable and marginalized communities. From access to quality education to healthcare, from employment opportunities to basic rights, there is much work to be done.

— The Challenge

Nepal’s children and youth face significant hurdles in their journey toward realizing their full potential. Nearly 10% of children are still out of school, while many others are engaged in child labor due to poverty. Rural and marginalized communities face even more dire conditions, lacking access to quality education and health services. Adolescents and young adults, particularly from underprivileged backgrounds, struggle with limited access to skill-building opportunities and employment, vicious a cycle of poverty.

— Our Objectives

Every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, should have access to quality education that not only imparts knowledge but also instills values of critical thinking, compassion, and leadership. This education should also include vocational and technical training that equips youth for the real world, helping them become job-ready or entrepreneurial in spirit.

A child’s well-being begins with access to proper healthcare and nutrition. We must invest in health services and promote awareness about mental and physical health, ensuring that children grow up strong and healthy.
As children transition to youth, the need for skill-building programs becomes crucial. Youth-friendly initiatives that focus on developing entrepreneurship, leadership, and vocational skills can transform their lives. Microfinancing opportunities should also be made available to encourage small-scale business ventures.
Our children and youth must grow up in a society free from discrimination, violence, and inequality. We must work towards creating inclusive spaces where children from all backgrounds feel safe, supported, and valued.

— A Call to Action:

Let us unite our efforts to build a brighter future for Nepal’s children and youth. By investing in education, healthcare, and skills development, and by ensuring equal opportunities, we can create a society where every child can dream, every youth can achieve, and every community can flourish.

Together, we can build a world that honors the potential of every young Nepalese, laying the foundation for a just, inclusive, and prosperous Nepal.
